Australia Design Rules are not just for bikes they apply to many things like seat belts etc. Are you near any Hot Rod Clubs that can advise you and help you ?

Australian Design Regulations! Any thing intended for use on public roads must comply. Plenty of hotrods do.

Your age is of no consideration if you speak Hot Rod any Car guy will talk to you.
Your best start is being on this forum but you need to talk to some one that has a car like you want to build.

I went to events at your age and that is how I learnt. Happy to help you if I can.

Valley Street Rodders disbanded sometime in the '90s

Thanks bud, I posted two photos of your Spinner, the other was from side on.

I really like the colour of it, suits it well. It's nice to see an unchopped
    Spinner for a change too.

Cheers Matt. That other snap is great too...! Yes, just seeing a RHD shoebox is getting to be a rarity with the influx of imports...(not that i wouldnt snap up a LHD buisiness coupe if i had the chance) ..wouldnt pay it any justice by chopping it. She is a great little banger that gets me and the fam around. And after installing a front split windscreen once, you never want to do it again..! :). James
