Just moved from central Arkansas to northwest Arkansas. What HAMB connections are up here? I'm in Rogers, would love to meet some others HAMBers in the area

Oh, man, Duncan, apparently I should make a breakfast occasionally. I had no idea you were moving. What's Dr Dave gonna do for a tour guide now?
Hope you like the new area, maybe we'll stumble through someday.

I am just across the line in Missouri. Lots to do in the area. Plenty of local shows, cruise nights, and then there is the HAMB Drags in August.

  5. ARKIEHOTRODS, I LIVE 10 MILES NORTH OF HARRISON. THE CHEROKEE CASINO IN SILOAM SPRINGS HAS A BIG SHOW EVERY AUGUST. THERE IS A SHOW HERE IN HARRISON IN MAY AND AROUND $5,000.00 IS GIVEN AWAY TO ENTRANTS. BE SURE TO CONTACT BUZZ HOUSTON AT www.ozarkcarevents.com AND PICK UP PONE OF HIS CALENDAR OF EVENTS FOR THIS AREA AND ALSO COVERS PARTS OF MISSOURI AND OKLAHOMA.

Being a short drive to the drags is defiantly a plus. There is a couple of good local shows each year in the area.

Downtown Rogers in the end of May
and the Rolling Relics are a good bunch of guys that put on a show in Fayetteville
And the swap meet in Springdale (former Tonitown swam meet) in Sept.
and a few more I cant really think of right now.
Ozark car Events publishes a booklet of everything local, and a website.

We'll have to meet up when this winter wonderland thaws out next week

Hey there! We moved from Pea Ridge a couple of years ago, lived there about 5 years. I would suggest getting up to Neosho and visiting WZ Junk, that will be well worth the trip.

    I'm sending you a PM.

You can get a copy of the 2014 Ozark Car Events at R&R Street Rods
8701 East Plentywood Road, Bentonville, AR after the first week in January.
They are probably closer to Pea Ridge than they are to Bentonville.

They are co-producers of they Gateway swap meet on June 6th and 7th and
the Gateway car show on June 7th in the Gateway Town Park. It is only about 10 minutes away from you.

You will also be a lot closer to Dewey and the HAMB drags this year.

Buzz Houston is the other promoter of the swap meet and car show and
he produces the Ozark Car Events Calendar. www.ozarkcarevents.com
Great little book showing car shows, cruises and swap meets in the Ozarks.

Lot of stuff going on in your area. Good luck with the move.

Good to know there are HAMB'ers in my second home area:) I'm based in Eureka Springs When I'm in the US. Plenty of stuff to do there, and a short drive to the Drags at MoKan as said. Also close to Starbird museum:) +I like the area very much:)

inkstain27, it was totally awesome sitting at a traffic light and you pull up beside me in your T. It was a pleasure meeting you and seeing your rides.
