  3. [IMG]Just got home- 7 1/2 hours Bendigo- Salisbury SA. Nice trip.
Saturday Chopped- intense rodding. The music was young & wild.
This morn I took a run up Mt. Tarrengower. Awesome is that road.. Chopped or die!!

I got to take Bob Bleed for a run in the coupe. He loved it and could'nt believe a flatty was so fast.

Great pic of Geralds roadster Spoggie but where's the "Gnome" himself?
BTW you should come back in a couple of weeks time for the Mount Tarrengower Hill Climb which is another terrific local event with all sorts of cars and specials racing up that road.

We came over along with a few other Kiwi's and had a blast as usual.

Here's some of our pics, mostly taken by Firefly. Must have been my snoring that got her out of the camper to take the cool early morning ones!

^ Lol at the last picture! When I got there on Saturday morning, there were quite a few people still passed out sleeping on the ground. Must have been a good Friday night, apparently someone's tent site was playing loud music until 5 am :)

  11. Has any one got a photo of the pale blue '55 Ford Courier that was apparently for sale? Thanks, looks like fun was had! -H.R.D-

  12. Dude. It's in the background in photo #10 of post #37

BTW Thanks Swifty- it'd be neat to tie the 2 weeks together between events. Maybe paint a car portrait or two in the area on a daily basis- that could do it.

Awesome event, I got there early friday and left sunday arvo, my cuzzo ran great untill I smacked the sump on the ground and put a hole in it coming down the return road saturday, the car that rolled on friday was a simca vidette with a 360 chrysler in it

  26. What state are you in? Its still do-able to get old cars both registered and used as daily drivers just takes a bit more effort. Club rego is a very cheap option for cars used on a very limited basis so makes sense alot are taking that option if its available. ADR's only came in around 1974 I think from memory. My current daily is an EK Holden (1961) and my A model roadster is on full reg so I can and have used it daily. PLenty of cars still on full reg here in Vic.
