I apologize if it is already out there, but I did a search and found nothing. I would like to see a thread on Model A roadster tops done right. Chopped, styled, etc. It is one of the hardest things to get right on an A roadster. Show us some pics!
I have seen some beautiful Model A roadsters and when the top goes up they become the ugly girl at the dance. I am just curious if there are some tops out there that are done right!
I did not build this car, but the guy I bought it from said he used a glass top (from Wescotts I believe) for a '32, and modified it to fit a Model A. If interested in the details, let me know and I will try to call him and see if he is willing to discuss this with you.
Tom Lieb of Scat industries... It was on the cover and featured inside in Street Rodder about 4 years ago.
Well here's my 2 cents. Eddie baumann's 29 is absolutely perfect! I'm just sayin... So I don't have one yet but a 28-29 roadster is next on my list! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Worked on this one a few years back... http://www.hubgarage.com/original.h....amazonaws.com/photos/698160/sinister_a_2.jpg

If you go to the TRADITIONAL section of the site & search "roadster tops" you'll find many threads w/ pics. dave
