Technical Ford F1 brake drum wear limit

Hi Fellow Hambers,

can´t find anything on this topic, can anyone tell me what the wear limit of a 1948-52 F1 front brake drum is?
How do i measure it, just the inner thickness?

you measure the inside diameter from surface to surface across the drum , and the discard measurement is sometimes on stamped on the surface of the drum

 

According to the factory Ford manual, the Max Dia Boring Limit is 11.060 inches. New they are 11 inches.

Yup, anything more than .060 over goes in the beer fund barrel,,,
