Lots of cool hot rods on this thread, I'm such a sucker for A and T coupes.


Last week, I drove mine around the block for the first time, but I still have lots to do.

 

Ill bite.

Just got mine together too. Search "300 days to build a Model A"

 

Great looking coupe!

 

Here's mine, '29 running 262 Chev V8, 5spd manual & 9".

 

Here are some more recent pics.

Real, old school 475HP small block, T-10 4 speed, 4.33 gears, Traditional look. Absolute blast.

Stock tank was cut out to make room for the cowl steer. The dash is 1/8" aluminum. The detail lines are engraved. It is set up for an ignition key, headlight switch and a turn signal switch. It fits right behind the stock upper trim piece. Here is a shot of the cad layout before we added the switches. Are you allowed to say cad of the hamb?

Helmuthbrothers, your Model A looks great!

I like that you have chosen to keep the drip rails and cowl gas cap. Hopefully your roof will either be left open with a new wood kit or you'll order a reproduction (stock style) black vinyl roof. I like where your project is going. You have a good eye.

 

Thanks a lot. The body will pretty much look bone stock with the major exception of the chop when its done. Original style roof, wood, gutters, seams, tank, and trim.

 

And that my friends is how you build a Model A!

One of the 30's is gone ,here is what is left. Have to change from 3030 to just 30.
