Myron;Dale has not had Cragars on his 64 for quite a while!!!The "Rocket Man" is a Rocket wheel user now!! His Comet is still a pooch, needs to spend time getting a tune up in place!!!! ROY.

Cool! Jim has had way to many problems with that G Force. I bet he and the car will really like the Liberty. Wish I could come down. Brian

I thought by mothballing the Cragars, it would shed enough weight to chase ol' Baby Blue and his three pedal screamer ! Truth be known (Roy- turn away from the screen now) I actually help Roy get lower ET's, as since I'm behind , I actually push a wall of air in front of me, that nudges him along. Thats a buddy helping his buddy!! HA !!! Roy- I'll take that beer now !!

Even more truthfully, you guys read all this banter between Roy and I, but you cannot be out on the road with a greater man, who always has your back !!!

    Yes/NO:
Same crank, pistons, cam and head, new block, and rods, but still a 6cyl...
The last time out it went 11.14@118 with the four barrel...

Al;I think if Todd does show at CHRR,the top end and fuel injection will be different. He has his old heads and intake for sale over on the FORD FE FORUM.I hear he went 5.98 in testing on an 1/8th mile track!! ROY.

SIX GUN;you are REAL close to that 10 second pass! Which block do you use? I know you mentioned it before but what does the car weigh? Does the new engine seem any different? ROY.

Yes, I think he will be there to give the guys some stiff competition. Just talked with him today, I think with you, me Todd, Godsey, and one other, we should make for a good Comet line-up again !! The new Rocket fronts came today, they are quite nice, a bit stout, at 17 pounds, but will look the part in every way. Can you tell I'm a happy camper??

    65COMET:
It's a 300 truck block, car weighs 2800# with me in it, seems to revvvv pretty good, the 5-speed should help...

    teddisnoke:
It has gone 10.90s@121 with 55mm side draft Webers, but I think that Holman/Moody intake is coooool....

The head is stock type that was ported/polished by Jerry Arnold (a comp guy), the Holman/Moody has a common plenum, the Webers are IR.... The car it self weighs 2550# do the math (I'm no supermodel!?!?!) LOL...
