Except it isn't anymore. Built by Gary on the HAMB, and he had to sell it, even though he shouldn't have. Kinda tempted myself at the time. Next best thing though? Getting to follow it up the road now that it's landed in the UK... Popped up to the local WW2 airfield at Fersfield to grab a couple of pictures in the fading light. Forgot all about that one. The way it was written out was pretty much the way it happened. If I remember correctly we got the driveshaft within .020" of runout measured at the center. To true it we used a torch and a wet rag to cool it. Think we did that once. Without any help I remember it was .040" after the welding. cheers,

Gary's T in Austin Nevada last year on the way to Bonn. Don't know why he sold it and probably none of my business. All I know is he drove the shit out of it and he and his lady are the best. My guess is you will see him in something kool soon in not sooner. Guess you can see I loved his T. I have never taken six photos of any rod but my own. It was built to driven and it looks like it is covering some ground. steel rebels pics are of the trip to Bonneville when the generator fell off at 60mph somewhere in California. Hammered the pulley back into shape and drove to Austin, NV with the amp gauge bouncing all over the place, stopped into visit Ray Salisbury who has the junkyard there. He had new bushing, bearing and a pulley for me. No more needle bounce for the next 1500 miles. So many good stories. Oh yeah, the shock was broke when he bought it!!! LOL
