It's not quite ready for the first drive yet, but I'm getting insurance on it this week so I'll be ready when the time comes. Specs: 2x4 Tube Frame, tapered in the front, 8" Z in the rear, 4" stretch Split bones & every other leaf in the front Chevy truck trailing arms and neon coil spring rear (not sure about spring rate yet) Chrysler 318, A727 TorqueFlite 4" Channel no chop (yet?) The Plan: Fixed metal hard top w/fabric covering - similar to the ones Koz builds Lakester Headers (have the parts from Cone Engineering, just need to build 'em) Dark Blue Paint (Washington Blue?) - Lacquer We've got a 15 month old and our second one is due mid-July, so I'm in a bit of a crunch to get it running/driving. The body work is likely going to have to wait until #2 is mobile. As it stands today I'm lacking the following to make it drivable: Brakes & Brake Lines Driveshaft Rear Shocks Weld up headers Windshield (anyone got a decent frame cheap?) Mount grill shell Door latch hardware Some Misc. Welds on the frame (from mock-up to final) There's about a million tiny detail items that need to be done, but making it functional is at the top of the list. Anyway, here's some photos of how it stands today. I mounted the headlights & I'm loving the 9" units. I think they are ~36 chevy truck? Tyson
