    Hey Guys an Gals

Finally registered my 27 roadster today - couldn't have maintained the build without the technical expertise as well as inspiration from this site. I've been a member for years but have been away for a while.

    Here a couple pics:

Nice roadster and congrats! I've been working on my car for about 9 years as well and am finally rounding the corner. Must feel great!

    Great looking job.
    I love the frame covers.
I think that's the way I'll go with mine.
    Thanks for the idea!

Thanks for the comments - rail covers were fairly easy - I got sheets of aluminium from scrap yard and had a place stamp the louvres. Then I went to a steel fabricators to bend them up but they said it was too small a job to be worth their while so they let me use their hand roller for a case of beer. Bit of trial and error but it worked out OK - and cheap too! They make a huge difference to the look of the car - really fills it out. It also hides the exhaust and trannie cooler. I did want to exit the exhausts out of the covers in front of rear wheel but regulations here say they have to exit rear of the car.

Only part you screwed up is the side you put the steering wheel on......
Nice work. Lovers on the frame covers look spot on.
