Heres some pics of the my McCulloch Supercharger set-up on my dad's 235 Chevy lump we picked up on the weekend. Its actually a mish mash of components with the use of a Chevy small block bracket, which isn't an exact fit, but its pretty dam close. The crank pully, which isn't in the pics is from a Ford Y block set-up. All this will be going into a '48 Chevy Sedan Delivery.
I like it. You know you will have to turn the front of the housing on the mount so the crest is at the top, right? Otherwise the pickup tube for the oil pump wont be centered and at the lowest point. After you've done that, you can turn the rear of the Blower Housing to get the Pressure tube where you want it.
Thanks for the comments guys. Yep. Most of the threads in the body need a tap ran through 'em to clean them up. We didn't want to force the bolts in with the body being aluminium.
Now that's dedication to the cause - driving all the way up here to pick up that huge lump of old iron just so you could mock up those pictures! Hope you didn't put your back out rolling it up the stairs? Wished I'd looked at that rocker cover before - it's in far better condition than the one I'll be using... By the way, there's a couple of short tailhousing open drive column shift truck boxes in the shed if your dad gets stuck when the plan starts to come together.
I've been wanting to do that for a few years now, I guess you beat me to the punch. I'm looking forward to seeing it when its done.
