Kool thread. The only cars in the world capable of making radial lace wire wheels look good in my opinion.

My 62 Impala, this was my first old car, and got me into this hobby... or lets say disease. I found it in ´96, saved my money until I could buy it in 1997. It had just a tad under 16ooo miles on it. Now it´s got 24500 on it , so she is out of warranty now, haha
It originally came from a farm around Flagstaff/Az, where Hans, a guy from Stuttgart, Germany bought it from the first owner in the early 80s and brought it over, where he planned to refresh the sunburnt paint on the hood and roof. Hans never came around to doing that so the car wasn´t driven over here until i got it.
Hans told me the 1st owner used his 62 Chevy truck on his farm on weekdays and drove the Impala to church and downtown only in sundays. :)Neat story.
Today I regret we painted the car, just because of some primer spots showing through the hood trunk and roof...Today that would be called patina, but I just wanted it to be perfect .

Thanks a lot. I like it (my son likes it more). I have been to the Wexford cruise a few times with my old '65 stepper. Haven't been there with this though. Maybe this year.

Yeah they got the salt in so figured use it all up by April. We can't catch a break here for more than a day. Hope the end of winter is near.

NICE! Maybe if there are enough of us out there we could start a flat roof picture thread. I like it man.
