Damn! It's out!!! Between your Vicky and my RPU, we have to hold some sort of record for the most time spent futzing with Model "A"s some where on the planet!
I've always preferred the reverse rake of the tudor or the rear deck of a roadster or coupe, but like all of these old fords, with the right stance and style a vicky can look great.
a model A Vicky is one of my fav cars..I looked at a white '31 from North Carolina years ago..before I found my car. definitely on my bucket list.
Yep on the beltline and not so much on the welding. Even less so on all the grinding and hammering. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=395833
The measurements of the Body from Dash to Rear Body Panel are exactly the same as the 33 Vicky FORD Mfg. built, The FORDOR Body is best I could fit into my Budget , I made the most out of what I had to work with, I finished the project 10 years ago and I like it a lot.
If you are talking about the car in your avatar, you made a diamond out of a chunk of coal ! Congrats!
Thanks "KAN" Mid year 34 Vicky Ford introduced a Trunk, Here is a pic taken @ V8 Grand Nationals event with the trunk open
I too have wanted a Vicky since I was a kid. I built the AMT model a few times and have build a fiberglass chopped Vicky on a TCI frame. This year a golden opportunity popped up to buy a real steel Deuce Vicky and now I've finally got my ultimate Deuce. I've been saving parts for ten years now so have most everything to finish it except time.
