Let's just be frank. Cragar SS's make cars look better and have been since the 60's. I dedicate this thread to all the cars (ON TOPIC of course) that ran or are running these wheels currently. I don't expect it to be a ton since it's on the tail end (1964+) of what this site covers but there's definitely quite a few we can drool over. If this is a repeat of another thread, tough. This one is going to be better. :D So if you have some ON TOPIC examples please by all means, throw them up!

This is the car that caused the madness for me. It's awesome in every way and kinda falls into an early Lowrider/Custom category.

Old wheels on the unibody. They where in bad shape, flakey chrome, so I blasted them and painted em with cast blast paint.

I don't have any photos. All I have is LOVE for the coolest wheel ever made. Getting into cars in the late 60's, you could have a cool car, but if you tossed on a set of Cragar SS wheels, the bar was raised another 5 notches.

Cragar deep dish SS. That still sounds bad ass. Often copied, never duplicated. All others pale in comparison. Wheels of the Gods.

I gotta agree, Cragar S/S wheels look fantastic on most anything (except period correct restorations). They were first offered in 1964 which makes them HAMB friendly too. I was saddened a few years back when I couldn't get any :( and bought some American Racing Chrome 5 spokes that looked the closest in style. I hear Cragar is back in the wheel business again, and offer the classic S/S 5 spokes in their lineup. :)

I was so happy to have scored these off of CL for a great price. Only ran them on my car for about a week because I couldn't keep them tight. I used Cragar SS specific lug nuts and washers and torqued them to spec and they still didn't want to stay put.
