We have lost a great guy and one of the Showdown family. When I went to the first Showdown and we were all standing out of the rain under the pavillion. Pat was the first guy to walk up and start talking to me. We talked cars and art and skateboards and more. We became quick friends that day. One of the best things about working the showdown all these years are the friends I have made there and he was the first. It will not be the same without him. My heart is breaking for Erin right now. She works the track gate with me and is the sweetest soul. You could see the love Pat and Erin had for each other. RIP my friend.

Man, what a bummer. I remember a few thread discussions as well as a few PMs we shared about the early days of the KKOA and his sweet chopped Studebaker. He really loved customs. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends. Vaya con Dios, Amigo..........E

Pat will definitely be missed. He turned me on to this site, we have skateboarding as another common thread... We met when he bought one of my limited skateboards, #11, after that, he insisted on having #11 in any other limited skateboards... I will miss you Pat greatly, you have left us way too early. Spirit, Soul and kind words will be synonymous with your name...

I hate reading this. Met him once at Detroit Autrama. Super cool guy and as said, his posts here did bring a sense of sanity to the board.
