Great stuff today. I particularly like the '41 Ford Woody by Jigger, and 57 Corvette Bob's '59 Cadillac.

I said a while back that every artist needs at least one giant eyeball painting in their portfolio. Here's one of mine.

 

This car is just perfect, love it!

I posted these in the other FAS thread which seems to have disappeared so I'll post them in this one. Nothing special really, just a couple quick sketches done at the cruise night last night.

Some great photography on the FAS this week!

Here is a test cut/color piece from doubled wall cardboard, an abundant large panel material at work, to check the design and layout of the parts. About 28" in length.

I am going to create a larger piece of the same design in more durable materials.

This is my 10 year old son's latest project. A little twist on the old distributor cap as a pencil holder. He had the idea of putting a pencil sharpener in the Dwell adjustment window. All his idea, and mostly all his work!

 

Here is mine, might color it this week for next Friday.....

Just came across a post on the general forum which made me want to dedicate this week's show to a fallen member. Pat Maphis, AKA ,Skatefink passed away Pat will be missed. My sincerest condolences.





Also, throw out a prayer for the FAS's own, Joe Lockwood and family. Joe's 12 yr old son, Geno, underwent open heart surgery to replace two heart valves damaged after a battle with Rheumatic Fever this summer.

 

Jeez Jigger- ...prayers sent. God bless Skatefink. R.I.P. ol' mate. And Joe is such a part of FAS- hang tough fellas
