Technical 23 t bucket...floor ideas needed

    iam looking for the best ideas in putting the floor in the 23 t... wood and glass or all glass.. all ideas or pics would be helpful... thanks.

    I glassed wood in and then topped that with bead rolled sheetmetal. Looked great.

    I glassed in 3/4" marine grade plywood. If you have never used fiberglass, you should take a little time to read about working with it. Before you glass in the floor you will need to really clean the body to remove any oils or mold release. You will then need to rough up the fiberglas with sand paper to help the new resin bond with the old resin and so the joint will have the strength you need and survive. Don't take my word for it, go read some stuff. It has been a long time since I used it. Also I remember glassing in some 1/4" or 1/2" dense foam to add panel strength to the sides of the body. It was special foam for the purpose, I got it from Dick Williams of Poli-Form. That was about 35 years ago. You need good ventilation, and why not just wear a respirator while working to be safe.
