Had some very rare high end sports cars come thru my town today and saw this car. At first I thought it had to be Edsel ford's roadster, but after looking at pix of his I realize that it isn't. Does anyone on here know what this car is? It looks somewhat like a cord in the front. Possibly an early custom? Interested to know what you come up with. Cheers!

Frank Kurtis built for Tommy Lee, OFFY powered. Saw it at Hershey 6-8 years ago. It is in that Pre WWII Dry Lakes film in a HAMB thread. Tommy Lee had a LOT of fine cars in the 1930's, ran INDY cars also. His family owned most of the Cadillac dealerships in Sothern California at the time. It was displayed in the "Customs Then and Now" building at the Grand National Roadster Show at Pomona a couple of years ago. Beautiful car.

Good to see it's still running. We had the transmission and radiator out of it a week ago...:)
