I actually bought this in May. I was gonna get it delivered from a shop in Vermont, then that didn't work out and I decided to go get it in June. That ended up being an adventure(worth checking out) which ended with me not having the truck. Which wasn't a big deal because I had my left arm operated on late in June, so being in a cast for 6-7 weeks put driving a 3 on the tree with no power steering out of the equation. Gave me plenty of time to make a new key chain for it though lol New key chain for the "new" truck. Can't wait to grab it on Friday. by Brown Dog Welding, on Flickr Peter wound up dropping her off a week into my left arm's rehab. So I got a good 3-4 weeks driving it before Monday, when I got the right arm cut up '54 F100 has arrived. Kind of a handful w/ one arm, but man is it cool! by Brown Dog Welding, on Flickr Inside... by Brown Dog Welding, on Flickr Darla wanted to go for a ride, Eddies it is! #drivein #hamb #f100 by Brown Dog Welding, on Flickr Trucks after dark... by Brown Dog Welding, on Flickr Skipped Woodward, drove north to the Armada fair with @darla_charmaine instead. #corndogsandelephantearsFTW #f100 #hamb by Brown Dog Welding, on Flickr “You are the sky. Body is in decent shape...it's a 10 footer, which is what I wanted...something I don't have to worry about getting beat up. Wood in the bed is in decent shape. I dig that it's a stock style front end without a SBC. I'm not gonna lie, one of these days I'd like to build a slammed "resto-mod" effie, but it won't be this one. This one is just gonna be an around town bomber.
Super truck! Great score. The only thing I'd do is add a three speed overdrive transmission if it doesn't already have one.
Nice truck. There's one here locally that I've looked at: http://sscustomcars.com/sshelp/listing/1954-f100-pickup/
I like the colors and look of yours better. I was born in '54, so the green one caught my eye....but I'm not in the market for another truck
I'd really like a '51 or '52, I figured one day when I hot rod one I'll go that route. This one just spoke to me for some reason, had to get it. If you see it rolling around right now, it's my buddy driving it. Truck is a handful with one arm in a cast lol
Good looking truck! My grandfather had a 55 mercury that I wanted but he gave it to my uncle who put it in a barn for 15 years, the barn fell on it then he traded it for a chainsaw if the guy would get it out himself. I never saw it again, still makes me mad.
