Pulled my 4 speed manual A-833 tranny and have already purchased a complete rebuild kit for it. Planned to do it myself, but have never done one before. Now I'm having second thoughts. Anyone know of a mopar tranny person or shop in Connecticut that would rebuild this for me at a reasonable rate...or give me some pointers? Thanks!

It really isn't that hard. It's like rebuilding your first 4 bbl carb.
Go slow and check a manual either online or not.
The second one will be a breeze.
My first four speed rebuild was a TR3 4 speed w/od.

I had good luck with (Reed's Classic 4-Speeds, 203-265-6888, Wallingford, Ct.)

I ended up doing it myself... It was not difficult, but definitely needed extra hands to get it reassembled.

Don Scinto Auto Machine in Stratford, CT. Charges about $150 for labor plus parts. Been around since the early 70s, has his son working there as well. Google them, they come right up. Also do rear ends at VERY reasonable prices.
