Gary, Go there with a trailer and a wad. Somebody will show up. Ya might have to sleep on the trailer over night. Looks like you already been in so get the VIN's and let the DMV do the walkin. If theyre abandoned, looks like enough nice iron to fund your truck.

Is one picture of a super rare american made car in a picture thread really going to shut the whole damn site down??? Its not a RAT ROD or honda for christ's sake...

I pay my dues here every year without question. This rule nazi shit is really turning me off. Anyway, I think I will go out to the shop instead of battling keyboard cops. Peace!

There's still so much great iron in New Mexico. We used to visit family in Albuquerque every summer and drive up Hwy 14 to Madrid to visit the old coal mining town. The hillsides were covered with 30's & 40's cars just abandoned when the mine closed in the 50's. Then all of a sudden, the California street rodders migrated that far east and all of the "easy pickins" disappeared.

    So many missed opportunities...

Dude, it is NOT rocket science. HAMB- 1965 cut off. If you can not understand that, I don't know what else to tell you.

DOGFIGHT is part of the family- lots of HAMB guys are members. Plenty of us would be happy to see it there.

The Fleetline is gone!!!!!!!!!!! I was just through there this morning and it's gone. A new business is moving into that building. Still a bunch of iron sitting in the yard behind the building.

Is there any value in a '59 Lincoln 2 door? It looks COMPLETE 'cept the glass, yes the engine is still in it.....
I stopped there this last weekend on my way to San Antonio,TX, (sold/delivered my '57 3100), and got a look inside. There are two (2) nailheads (!), the 4bl BBM, and assorted other parts and pieces. I'm thinking of making a concerted effort to find a way to purchase the vehicles and engine/trannys. But if it ain't worth my trouble then........
Sorry to sound so $ driven but this would have to at least pay for the pickup and all my time/trouble, ya know what i mean ?!!

If you are really interested find the vin tag on it write the vin down take it to the dmv and ask for the owners last known address. It will usually work if the vehicle has been registered in the last 20 years if you strike out with the IHC you might write the other vins down and ask the same for all the vehicles.

Here are a few shots of 31 Dodge I found few weeks ago.
Managed to get it while buddy of mine got a Camaro that was sitting in same barn. The Dodge has been sitting since 1953. Camaro since 1982.
first couple are right after we got it out of barn, last one after I went and rinsed 60 years of dust off of it.

Dodge engine is locked up and have not been able to get it to turn over. Not all bad tho - just happen to have an old 331 hemi I think would make cool looking 50s era street rod.

  19. pbajeff,

NICE FIND!!! There are a few guys with early Dodge builds here on the HAMB if you do a search, and the Dodge Club boys will be very interested in your wire wheels/hubs if you're not going to use them, AND they will gladly trade front fenders as well :D

  20. Please let me know what you might be offloading from the car. There is a guy on the AACA with an engine for that for sale....http://forums.aaca.org/f143/sale-1931-dodge-bros-dh6-drivetrain-338044.html

Evaluating the evidence from the picture, I'd say that engine is a '66 325 horse 383.

That coupe has some nice lines!!! Nice score, hemies are great but it would be sad if you lost the fenders. No sidemounts and a couple bubles in the hood would be SWEET.
