Started this project with quain about 3 months ago. Plan was to get a 55 of mine rolling and put it on ebay and make a little money but we all know how this is going to go.

Quain does some nice work, looking forward to some updates!

  7. I was in the Carolina's this past week for work. I wanted to meet Quain and possibly Shannon in person, so I left Z'Max Drag Strip in Charlotte about 5:45pm Friday evening, and Got to Quains about 7:30 and stayed to 12:15am hanging out and shooting the breeze while Quain installed a rebuilt cast iron, SINGLE POINT DISTRIBUTOR, with a tach drive, and an ancient Jones/Motorola mechanical tach!.., in his Willys, now I am sure Quain is a Gasser brother to the very soul. I missed Shannon, but got to meet his 98.5% finished 55, and you guys are all gonna love this build thread too.., so stay tuned. Quain is definetly got the skills, and he is a great human being. Thanks again for the fish dinner!, and Shannon good to talk to ya one the phone. Now I gotta go back to crying, cause I had to leave Charlotte yesterday afternoon and missed the Ware Shauls Gasser Get Down.

when you hit "post reply" look under additional options

    - click Manage Attachments
this brings up a separate window where you can upload your pics.

    - Click Browse, select the pic you want, click open.

    - Each spot where you See browse can be used for another picture

    - Once you have all your pics selected you click upload to the right.

    Hope that helps

I'm subscribed... the finished product looks good. I watched the video of your first full pass, and it looks like that old girl leaves hard too.

Are you working on this as a new project?

  24. NO!! The car that Quain and Shannon just bought, is the gold '56. The red car is our "Yesterdays Child" car. "The '56 Gasser garage find" thread, is for the gold car we found last November. My brother Marc and I are currently making changes to the red 56 (mainly in the horse power dept.) so we can race in Quains gasser group.

Sorry for the way this has started. Quain has some pics also so we are going to try to find time to do a detailed thread from his place when we get time.
