What a great time to be growing up as a kid!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watching Dick Landy run on Sunday's along with Don Garlits and many others.

The memories last forever even though the cars are long gone!!!

These are shots taken in 1965, This AA/FD ran out of Eugene,Oregon. It was known as the "Bev's Steak House" car, Cordy Jensen was the driver and his race partner was Bob McCabe, a "HAMBER", I might add. It was a "Woody" Car, with a body by Foy Martin Sheet Metal, in Springfield,Or. It was the one and only Dragster body, Foy built. The first shot is Bob Haines behind the wheel at Bakersfield, he was shaking it down for Cordy.

  15. Ken Dondaro driving?

  16. Seems as though there's no protection on most FED's rubber fuel lines between the pump and injector. Was this ever a problem when someone pitched a blower belt?

Here is another picture of it, at Fremont...couple of Northern California guys bought it, initially kept the GBP name on it until Prudhomme threatened to sue them, then changed the name...later crashed the car, and the remains were stored in a warehouse for 20 years until Steve Davis found it and restored it to its yellow version...this info from Don Ewald's site.

Bill Butler in "Bonanza" AA/FD at Pomona in 1965. If this car looks familiar it's because you've seen many shots of it in yellow or red with The Vipe at the wheel. This is the Greer, Black & Prudhomme Fuller car after they sold it to Amos Rickman. The car ran a few times before they crashed it whereupon it sat in a Nevada warehouse for 20 until Steve Davis rescued it for restoration.
More "Bonanza," also from Don Ewald's site

Pretty sure this is Sonny Adkins in Ray Godman's fueler, around '66 or '67.

I remember Preston Davis in the car at the Atlanta $10.000.00 in '66' or '67. I didn't know anyone else drove the car at that time.

Davis drove Ray Godman's cars later. Adkins and the Bo-Weevil actually won Super Eliminator at the '67 Springnationals at Bristol running as a BB/FD. Beat Al Bergler's AA/C in the final.
