Pair of Deuces Rod Action Cover.JPG 3rd 32 Coupe full fendered.jpg FIL1751.JPG And here is is on the Cover of Rod Action in 1979. Pictured with it is Bob Magane’s 32 5 W coupe. This later became mine(body only) and is currently is the black chopped 5W owned by Jim Padula.

That's pretty cool Baron. I didn't know that Jim's car was Bob's before you got it. Did Bob build his roadster on this chassis? Bob Magane has had a lot of cool cars. Didn't he own the Ray Brown roadster? And the Shaneman (sp) roadster?

Bob sold the coupe to buy the Schaeneman roadster. Mike Corbett (Deuce Engineering on here) bought the coupe from Bob, replaced the body with a Wescott Rdstr body and sold the 5W body to Don Spinney. Don eventually put together the 5W and later I traded him a Corvette for it.
Here is pic of Bob's roadster at the time(you've seen this pic before). The flamed Model A roadster beside it was parked a couple of cars down from where you and your brother were parked at Fitchburg last Saturday.

Thanks for the timeline. Love that pic. That's the A roadster that Christy built, it still has the Corvair front end in it. Nice looking truck. I'm glad you could spell Schaeneman!:D At least now I can google it to see the roadster. It's not an east coast car, so I'll post a link for anyone that's wondering what I'm talking about.

All I know is it came out of Massachusetts and was first built in 1958 then added on during the decades so it's not a time capsule per-se
It has 55 olds engine/hydro trans/ and rear end 40 brakes and steering
