I didn't read every page of this post so I hope I am not doubling up here but 1963 Pontiac Tempest with 421 Super Duty was one killer wagon!

Ive always loved the 2 door wagons - espeically the 64 and 65 'velles. Ive been looking for the "right one" for years, also love the 64 poncho in this group of pics along with the 60 2 door wagon.....would love to have anyone of them....Ive had about 8 wagons over the years, but never a 2 door wagon which I'd love to own.....maybe my next project????

Here it´s a picture of mine -65 Biscayne that I think is one of ten whit six in a row, three on a tree and no servosteering. And the car is untouched (no "ratnest" under the instrumentpanel) and so fare I know is very unusually, so it´s a survivor. The car is repainted in original color; Willow Green. Have a nice weekend.

  26. Another old thread, I didn't know existed. So I will start and read it in reverse.lol Frist I'll post a photo of our old Nomad. Hope its one I never used on another thread. She's just a daily driver and our road trip car. I always wanted one. I found her in 1999. I do love all wagons. Safari's, Nomads, 318.jpg 319.jpg all woodies, and delivery's I took these in front of an old garage that sold tires. Ron...

I have a weakness for longroofs. My dad is killing me with this one. He's owned it since 84' when it was a gasser turned bracket car. He made it more streetable then took it off the road to replace the inner and outer rockers, parked it next to the garage and hasn't touched it since. Won't let me do anything with it except start it up once in a while. He has everything to redo the car, someday I'll have my way and redo it along with his other iron...

When I saw the thread title, I immediately produced my list with out reading all the comments. Now having read the entire post, I see we are in agreement on many wagons. When I was 5, my parents toted me around in a '49 Plymouth 2 door wagon. We always had wagons, I learned to drive in a wagon, got my first.....................in a wagon, I love wagons and I can't believe I don't currently own one. Anyways, here is my list, sorry tri five guys, but as long as it is a wagon, it's OK with me.

    1949 Plymouth 2 door
    1956 Ford Parklane 2 door
    1957 Mercury Turnpike 2 door
    1957 Studebaker President 2 door
    1958 Edsel Roundup 2 door
    1960 Willy 2 door
    1962 Falcon 2 door
1962 Dodge dart 440 (absolute favourite)
    1963 Pontiac Tempest 2 door
    1964 Chevelle 2 door

A few honourable mentions and I know more will come to mind.
    1962 Chevy II wagon
    1994 Buick Roadmaster
    1960 Rambler American 2 door
    1961 Pontiac Catalina
    1962 Cutlass

    Long roofs forever
