A picture with the hood on.. kind of. Still haven't taken it on the road yet, but I did drive it in and out of the garage a few times.

Got the windshield and hood top on. Also working on some small stuff like finishing the welding on the trans tunnel. I have a couple page list of little things I want to get done before the Baltimore show.

Thanks! My oldest (3 year old) now thinks the Roadster is the coolest car we have....it was the minivan! Whew... glad I got it put together so he can sit in it and find out how cool it is!

Getting back from a week vacation tomorrow, looking forward to driving it a lot before the big trip to work out all the bugs! I will hopefully post a video early in the week.

I was hoping to upload a video this week, but still haven't got it running right. I'm not an engine guy so I'm going to have to have a professional look at it. It runs but has no power and will barely stay running unless you feather the gas. My dad seems to think the cam might be bad or off a tooth (it ran before I had it rebuilt), but he lives 12 hours away so he hasn't heard it in person. The "hot rod doctor" as I call him is on vacation so I'll get him over here when he gets back.

  19. You're definitely going the right direction on your build. Love the car and the way it sits!

I had some help getting this thing running right. A combination of bad timing and fouled incorrect spark plugs..... Runs great now. Took my first trip to the gas station today, always a good feeling when it makes it ;-)
Now battling a trans leak but at least it is on the road! Put about 25 miles on it today...

Got my hood sides on, plus a bunch of other little odds and ends. I've put about 200+ miles on it in about a week and a half. Headed to the Baltimore R.J. show on Thursday.......

The drive up to Baltimore with my wife was fun! The first long drive was a little nerve racking, but we made it with no problems. It took roughly 8 hours to get there. We made it just in time for the kick off party. The RJ revival is a great show!

The RJ revival Friday cruise was the highlight of the show. Beautiful drive through Maryland, these pictures don't do it justice.
