I just replaced the rear wheel seal and in the process I jacked the rear of the car up enough to get the wheel off.It was in neutral and I did rotate the wheel several times mainly at the end when I was refitting the axle and obviously it would have moved stuff in the box as it rotated.

After it was all buttoned up I noticed a small puddle of transmission fluid on the floor.I think it was around the dipstick area of the the trans but when I got under and checked the Lokar tube was all in tight.

Could rotating the parts in the box cause it to spit out some fluid? Now it is on the ground there is no fluid leaks and I have started it and all clear.Just about to go for a drive so that will be another test.

Vent looks like it's at top left of trans.
    Is the vent wet?

Just got back from a short drive and all seems OK.Maybe the angle the car was on when I had the rear jacked up sent some fluid downhill.
    I was just curious.
