Yea we do! I love sedan deliveries but when I couldn't find one I bought a 2-door wagon. Now I also have a 1948 Chevy panel truck. Sorta a sedan delivery. But I really like the deliveries the best. Thanks for posting and keep em coming!

Here is the one I am in the finishing stage of now. Ya, it is faux, but got tired of looking for the real deal. If I found one, I would probably have spent a long time replacing metal. At my age, I would rather have something to drive before its to late. Anyway, I am happy with it. 350/700r4 combo, with Maverick 8" rear end. Chopped 3 1/2" and channeled 3". Got a couple of thousand miles on it now. Hood gets build next week, and paint this winter.

Here are a few more to look at. While I don't have a photo I drove a '1956 DeSoto special order car which was a Sedan Delivery built up by National Body who also built ambulance conversions on various US automaker chassis.

I'm in, see my handle, having owned four Chevrolet Sedan Deliveries, three 56's and one 57. And, I hate it when someone says, "nice Nomad". At least no one's called it a "rat rod", probably only because it's far from one. Butch/56sedandelivery.

  19. Rockysdeliveryb_4paint.jpg Rockysdeliveryindriveway.jpg Who doesn't love a delivery? That green 40 Plymouth is just bad-ass. And so rare! I don't believe I've ever seen another one.
Here's my old 50 chevy delivery. Built a 406/4 speed for it with hiway gears in the 10 bolt. Drove it 1750 miles to my class reunion once..several times to Bonneville and all over the midwest...

'40 sedan deliveries are one of my all time favorite cars. Something about the look of those things really does it for me. My dad bought one from a farmer when he was a kid. The farmer told him he couldn't pick it up for a week because he had a surprise for him. The old farmer painted the ENTIRE CAR with battleship gray house paint using a big house paint brush. I mean EVERYTHING. Bumpers, tires, hubcaps, trim, glass, EVERYTHING! My dad said it was sitting next to the barn the guy had painted with the same paint and he almost couldn't see the car! lol....

some very cool examples posted here. I have a friend with a 54 Chevy that is rusted out almost beyond saving, but still very cool. Then he has a 47 Chevy s.d. sitting in his yard that he took in to do some work on, replace some floors install a 350 and put new brakes on it. He has only had that project for 15 years!, yes 15 years, but he is going to get right on it soon. ~sololobo~

Here is my current delivery a 1941 with a 40 hood and grille. I have owned about 10 of these over the years and I have always liked the model.
