Think i cant do it? well i sure am gunna try! To bad I didn't get it a year early cause last year was 50s theme!!

Nothing exiting just doing alot of body work. I swear some one had a dance party on this car. I'm gunna try and have it painted by the home coming so I can Cruz it in our home coming parade.

Looks like your doing a great job. I like the frenched headlights, hope you decked it too. they make a bull nose strip for the hood which looks nice cause I hope your not leaving the hood ornament on. .....I read an earlier thread where you wanted to add a sunvisor.....please don't do it. Sunvisors were always on "old mens cars", check out the little magazines of the 50's to verify. Good Luck and keep up the good work.

Hi, great build you are doing, looks like its coming on leaps and bounds. I have a '51 fourdoor I'm doing up at the mo, I'm over in the uk so didn't have much choice of cars, mine came along at the right price and time. But if you look at my build thread you will see it was a lot worse than I thought lol, still great build you are doing and given me a clue how to French mine :)

Thanks I apritiate the kind words. And yeah I'm not going to keep the ornament
I was thinking of a single strip but the bull nose strip sounds like a good idea.
And it isn't decked yet I might do it.

Looks good keep it up and don't ever sell it.
It is a monument that you and your dad made together.
Perhaps we will cross paths when I get some time to work out the issues on my '54 moredoor....

Great build thread! I've got a 50 4door Fleetline with a body like chewed bubble gum, but it gives her character. Love what you've got going on with yours.

Update: we replaced the spare wheel well and put the gas tank back in. Also undercoated the bottom from the rear end back. It's running again too
