Our club, The RoadHounds, is co-hosting a new show, The RustBelt Revival, with a group of local artists on Sept. 8th from 1-7pm in Downtown Youngstown at B&O Station. The B&O is a historic landmark, with plenty of shade, a deck overlooking the river etc. The B&O also houses a great local brewery. So come enjoy the day with us. Plenty of food, beverage, art, music and Hotrods. Space is limited to 300 cars The Steel City Roller Derby girls will be there, dressed and rollin on skates A local female dance group will be there dressed in pinup garb and doin alittle dancin! Food vendors, cupcake and cheesecake vendors, plenty of beverage Theres a FB event page if you'd like to be invited that way, let me know.
defnintely going...if you can overlook my general lee wheels, I'd like to show up in the T. If not, let me know now before I embarass myself. kthx
What's the year limit on the show? I'm hoping to get there. Just want to make sure my '65 Comet can get in.
i really expect to make it to this one sounds interesting I have been to b&o 1 time some years ago I just have save up some $'s for fuel ! that 25 mile ride should take about 6 gallons of fuel each way - we really should think about changing out those 4:56 gears ! looking forward to meeting some HAMB folks . stop by the rambler and say hello .
Wish I could Tim - not rolling just yet... I'll try to make it for the next one for sure. Looks like a good time - ENJOY! bob
We've been saying pre67 but there will be a few exceptions. Couple slammed C10s etc Weather is looking great so far. we'll be there by 9am to set up and expect several people to show up well before the 1pm start as usual Hope everyone can make it. Be sure to stop inside and see my wife. Her side business, Sugar Mamas House of Sweets, will be selling several flavors of cupcakes. and there will be many other options for food and drink as well
fantastic show hope u have one next year,,good mix of cars,,,,,,shanes shoebox was too much how bout some pics??????
What a great show! Nice job guys. Can't wait for next year. Lots of great cars and. Great guys and gals. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
nice show , had a great time great cars and some real nice folks attended . one of the coolest parts was when my brother and I stopped and asked directions from one of Youngstown police officers (we had the cutout caps off and it was loud as hell) and his biggest comments were "cool car" and he really didn't care about the noise bouncing off the buildings downtown ! he just really thought the car was cool , just one of the neat memories my brother and I will have from this show , we would go again with no hesitation .
i fallowed you guys in the model a.... your car was definently loud as hell! every window in every building was shaking
Thanks everyone. We had a pretty good turnout. You never know how a new show will do and have expectations. But we were happy with the turnout. We've got some things to work on to make better if we decide to do it next year. but all in all it was a good day. Thanks to everyone who came. We appreciate it. And once the dust settles and we sort through everything and decide to keep it going yearly, we'll strive to make it even better. Thanks!
Very nice show. Hope to be back next year. Just got some pictures uploaded: http://public.fotki.com/wcsr/rustbelt-revival-yo/
