Powder coated weiand valve covers just go great with the hilborn scoop it's a 383 stroker crate motor with a spanking new th400 trans I just rebuilt the 82 jaguar front end it's got a ford 9" rear with drums disc up front the problem I'm having is fender splitting dead center on the front fenders I am going to do some heavy duty new wielded braces seems most of my flex comes from the step I'm sure I'm going to hurt the paint fixing it but its all steel and those rear fenders were custom made by ford back in 1937

Thats a pretty nice little Streetrod ya got there.....looks like a late 80's build.....any plans to change anything other than the ghostbusters logo?
Also....whats the history of the truck itself, i do like the different bed they put on for the fire department way back when.
I just swapped the 350 motor and 350 trans for a 383 stroker and a turbo 400 trans and welded new side step braces and had to re weld and reinforce the frame where it was cut and shortened two feet the frame was breaking with the old motor now with all the added power it would just rip it in half, and I had to rebuild the front end it's a 82 jag front end. New springs shocks ball joints ect. I added a high tech double din radio paint and bodywork is out of my budget for a bit first I need to get her road worthy I need to rebuild the door guts everything is in need of grease and oil and new felt Our only recourse on this road to hell is we're driving a firetruck!
And I just got a Ron Francis wiring system I need to install and custom gauges and here is the history I received on the truck Our only recourse on this road to hell is we're driving a firetruck!
