    This intake will fit a 8BA 49-53 Correct? What are these going for?

    No, it should fit just fine.

    That manifold is for an earlier V8 ('32-'48). It will bolt on an 8BA, but there is no provision for the oil fill tube or the road draft tube used on an 8BA. You will have to get a fuel pump stand with provisions for a breather and an oil fill from an earlier flathead. You will also have to make a provision for crankcase ventilation. The best way would be to add a PCV system. There are plenty of threads here and other places that show several ways of doing that.

    To use that 'early" intake on your "late" (8BA) block, you will need to remove or shorten the crankcase vent tube, located in the rt. side front; The "late" intake has a port on the underside, to mate it to the road draft tube. If you try to bolt your early intake on, the tube will keep the manifold from seating on the deck.
