    I finished the passenger side wetsanding and buffing tonight...I'll finish the driver side tommorow.

    All done.... For now, lol..

    Had a photo shoot for Kustoms Illustrated magazine and won a Top 9 Kustoms award at Lead East this weekend.

    You have made a great transformation on your convertible! All of the things you changed really made it look so much better and more traditional.

    Mike - Great transformation! Well done, sir. And congrats on the magazine interest too.

    Can you show me (or explain) how your lakes pipes are mounted? I'd like to do something similar on my car, but I'm a little stumped on how to mount the pipes up along the rockers and keep them sturdy, but as close to invisibly mounted as possible. Got any close up photos with the pipes off that show how they attach?

    Thanks in advance.

    Well the front of the lakers are in the pods, the rears, I put nut serts in the rockers and under the lake pipes, then a bracket (piece of flat stock) I made that hold them to the rockers. If I didn't have the pods in front I would have did the same for the front as I did for the rear.

    Saw your ride at the meet up in Boonton. Yours was the coolest ride there. I drove my 50 coupe but didn't park behind the tape was a last minute hey let's go check it out kind of thing. Ps ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1407589964.477681.jpg i thought you planned to change the steering column!
