No going to the shades. Why would Coker pick the same date as the shades.. dumb!

  6. I would guess the 150 mile difference a lot of people in the Chattanooga area wouldn't be going to Pigeon Forge. HRP

I help with the cruise in and it was a tough decision to schedule the fall Cruise In on top of Shades of the Past. I hope it doesn't happen again, but there was no other choice this time around. The UTC football schedule is a big factor, since the stadium across the street uses Coker's parking lots and other nearby parking lots. Then, Coker has several other events in September, and lots of employees on the road for events across the country. October is pretty much out of the question because of events like Hershey, Carlisle, etc. have many employees traveling.

Thanks for explaining. I came down for the spring cruise and had a blast.

BA I have to work so I strike out on both and I have a family commitment that is gonna cause me to miss RNR which is right in my backyard. Work sure gets in the way of cruising for a livin'. The dream life would be a paid for home and the guy selected to take over when Jerry Dixey gives up doing the Street Rodder Road tours. Have a good safe trip Bruce.

Went last year in Oct. Couldn't get anybody else to go to it this year. Too early or late in the year.
