hot rod or custom? (poll)

It was a custom at one time, then somebody turned it into a hot rod.

 

Its times like this im reminded how much I dislike labels … why care just drive it for yourself

 

It's whatever you want it to be. I understand wanting to drive it, so without the hood, so be it for now.

 

Instead of those g78 wide whites, how about some thin whites with those chrome reverse? Give it more of a hot mild custom vibe when the Louvered hood goes back on. I think the mid sixties blurred the custom/hot rod lines a bit better.

If it has two peddles it's a mild custom, three it's a hot rod.

We used to call cars like that a street brawler. More suited for the stop light drags then the low and slow crowd.

Needs hood , my vote is Mild Kustom . That is one cool ride.I like it.

I agree-but I think it really needs a hood. clean engine bay, but not "wow" enough to merit going topless.

 

Slap a hood on it.... make it a taildragger. Definite kustom (with a "k")

I think it is a custom, however I also think it is a very nice car. Sure as hell beats those tin can tuners!!!!!!!

 

Yesterday, (50 years ago) Mild Custom !!! Today Mild Custom with well executed Traditional Custom Modifications.
Engine Room= Clean, Simple and to the Point...........
