Family life keeps me busy, but I'm trucking along when I can. I'm feeling more and more confident about this chop every time I go into my garage. "The Titanic was built by professionals while the Ark was built by an amature." ~ unknown Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Sorry I haven't been posting much on here, but I have t been on the HAMB as much lately and progress is slow (kids and work come first). Here's a few more pictures. I should have it back on the road this summer. Also, feel free to follow progress on my FB page too. https://m.facebook.com/tommysevillair Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Updates to my build thread. I've been driving the car, minus all of the glass, for the last couple of months. I'm in the process of finishing off the body work, getting the roof in primer, and having it on display in the basement at the Detroit Autorama 2015. I still have plenty of work to do and not enough time to do it, but it's getting there.
I grew up in Michigan, and rarely saw a car from the 1970's with that little rust. You've definitely got a find there. I completely understand what you mean with the 3 year old working in the garage. I have a six year old that is under the car with me when I'm turning wrench or trying to watch when I'm welding, so I don't get much welding done before his bedtime. Good luck on your build.
