Well , as usual , I went to the Lead East event in Parsippany , NJ this weekend , and I decided to take some pics (big suprise , lol) . I took a new camera this time , and unfortunately didn't shoot as many pics as usual - only about 300 or so . Here are a teasers for ya . The rest can be seen in THIS FOLDER . I've gotta remember to get a spare battery for this camera . My last on could shoot almost 700 pics before crappin' out .
Sorry for the delay getting my pics up till today , but Photobucket was being a major PITA while I was uploading . I've gotta get it straightened out till the next big show or meet . Well , here are a few more teasers .
thanks for the pics, had fun as always, was happy to see my old chevy come to the show, not a fan of satin, but the car looked great
What custom-hating clown gave this thread a low rating? Big congrats to Mikey (thesupersized) and Mike (Fifty5-Cgas) for Top 9 awards for Mikey's killer custom 'vette and Mike's gorgeous shoebox convertible. Both awards are well deserved and represented traditional customs well in the field of winners
Buddy - If you are going just for one day, what is the best day to attend the show? How much to get in? Was parking easy? How many cars are usually there? thanks, k-mac
Thanks guys - glad you enjoyed the pics . I don't know what kind of tool would give a thread like this a low rating . The thread just shows pics , no drama , no bashing of other show , etc . Yea well , ya can't please everyone I guess . 65 Nova - I usually go just for saturday . Always seems to be a good day to me . Here are a few more teasers for those who didn't click on my link :
I went for the first time and was blown away guess I will be going every year from now on this was overwhelming next year I will have my truck look for me! Our only recourse on this road to hell is we're driving a firetruck!
Thanks for the great pix. Car #1 reminds me of Sonny Venuti's "Ant Crusher." Haven't been to Lead East in 23 years.
Thanks guys - I enjoy taking pics for everyone who can't make it to shows . I sure miss a lot of shows & appreciate others taking pics . I love a good lace job ! We did our 1st lace job on my friend's Shoebox this winter (a 2-panel jobbie) .
