I finally found another one like I drove in high school. Super straight of course it has the typical hood hinge problem Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

I thought these were a Mainline-only body style, but this one appears to be a Customline. That's probably pretty rare. Does it have a back seat?
Yea it has a back seat. I had the same thought cause only coupe I have see we're 54 models Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

Heres a picture of my Dads 1953 Meteor Customline Coupe he's currently working over. It's coming to my garage soon so I can paint the firewall and inner front sheetmetal so he can install his Merc Flathead. These Meteor coupes were pretty scarce, and had the Mercury 'airplane' dash installed from factory on the Customlines only-Meteor Mainlines had the Ford dash. This particular coupe still had the 1962 plates on it when we picked it up in 2007. It sat on a farm in southern Alberta the entire time. We swapped out the frame from a low-milage 52 Mainline because the gravel roads really bent up the frame. Dad had always said as I was growing up, these coupes were his 'dream car'. Now he has one, and couldnt be happier!
I also had a '54 Ford in high school,i stuck a police interceptor in it and shortly thereafter I rolled it in the middle of main street,,a ton of go and very little whoa! HRP
I will start a build thread when I get started on it, since the flatty is good and healthy, and the three on the tree is like new I plan to run the original drivetrain for awhile til I get a motor build. Already secured a maverick rear end. As of right now I want to just get her road worthy again. Then i will dive into really doing something. I got to do floor pans, some jack ass took the side windows out and let it rain in her. Going to go ahead and do a speedway wiring harness. 12v conversion Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
