I drove it for the first time yesterday and I'm very pleased. The new 276 FH runs great. The Sid's axle along with the Posie spring gave me the look I wanted. If I could only get the hood to fit right. Oh well, it will give me something to do in my spare time.

    Stance looks good.

  3. Looks great....The stance makes it look mean and the wheels really set it off.

    Nice job, well done.
Question, whose wheels are you using?

The stance is perfect GK. Hope to see it around sometime. Now lets talk wheel color.:)
I love that color on a lighter color bodied ford but I would suggest black wheels on that beauty. Great car!!

Cool - getting the hood to fit is a art form - adjusting fenders may help.

Oh well, I knew I would get these comments. In my 70 years I found out early "you can't please everyone" the cool part for me is I like it the way it is, but thanks for the kind words.

I didn't know 39 hoods ever fit right.

39 looks great, everyone has a different opinion on wheels and color and that is hotrodding.
My hood is not right either, I plan to try a little harder come fall. I had to slot the passenger side holes to get it right and hope doing the same to the left side will help it fit a little tighter.
    Good luck, with it.

Correct but this ones really bad. It sticks up about 3/4" in the pass. rear corner and I can't even push it down. I think the aftermarket hinges are binding. You can see it in this picture. As you can see I have other problems anyway. This morning taking the wife to breakfast. No spark.

I like the stance, the wheel color, everything just the way you have it! Looks perfect!

I have read on the Early Ford V-8 website that to get the hood to pull down at the back, raise the hinges on the body. If I can find a link to the thread, I will post it later.
