I hate it that I agree with HRP so often, but i think he's got it right. Your car, though, so your opinion, in the end, is all that matters.

I haven't read the whole thread, but:

I like the front, but I think it'd work better if the Deco theme were carried through to the rest of the car. I don't think the rear has the same appeal; it becomes a bit arbitrary in its detail, and competes with the rear suspension in full rear view.

Here's some completely unrelated inspiration, though (seeing as someone posted the Graceland gates):

well I will let them flow for now 8 bolts and they can be off after inspection.

  6. I like 'em. Totally in character for a 50's early 60's car.
    A unique homebuilt design.
I might not have made them that way, but it isn't my car is it?!
There are way too many experts on the HAMB these days and way too many" rules" about a period when, there were no rules!

Sure, if you don't try it you never know, you are obviously a fine fabricator.

Just a little too wide for my taste. Might look better if they were a little narrower. Like the overall concept tho.

1ST PLACE IN STATEN ISLAND CAR SHOW CUSTOM! they loved the bumpers

  17. I bet that back one looks cool with the 'vette rear spinnin' away. I'da gone 2 not 3 at front but that's beside the point. I like the individuality they represent, maybe more than the form itself. Too sexy for a boxy Model A? Maybe more at home on a Delahaye. Hey.

I think this is a case of less is better. I admire the workmanship immensely, but I'd prefer something simpler myself.
