Looking for pics of real wild rods ,especialy sedans converted to anything, need some ideas for my project a 47 ford prefect.

Here's a couple of Prefects (I think) converted into gassers.

Yep, those are Prefects. Basically a 4 door Anglia. 94 inch wheelbase as oppsed to 90 inch.

He's still alive, right? Saw him a few years ago.

 

He phoned me a couple of years ago....lives in Florida.

 

My dad grew up down the road from E.J.
He has all sorts of crazy stories about him. He was always nuts, from the very beginning, even back to his bicycle when he was a teenager that he mounted some kinda chainsaw motor or something on.
Dad said he came upon a flipped over car in the ditch one day, walked up and asked if anybody was hurt. Back yelled E.J., just fine.....gotta chain? Went home, got the tractor, flipped him back over, and away he drove like nothing had happened.
Cant believe this guy is still alive.

I'm sure the OP has moved on, but Tom McMullen's "Chevy Two" twin engined Austin seems right along with the original idea.
