Custom 50 Ford convertible in Maine

    The rear quarters were a challenge, the owner wanted the packard tail lights and he originally wanted a long cont kit,,I call them the diving board continental kits. By the time I got the tail lights fabbed in so they looked right (staying with the 50 ford contour)with the long kit ,the car was too long in the rear and the tail lights were too close together!

    Well the area under the tailights is from a 56 packard, it was cut 4 ways and made smaller to go with the flow,the part from the tail light area to the center of the continental kit was made from a center section of a packard bumper

    Very well done, Top marks for sure. I did the same grill treatment on my '50 back in '67 looks Great.
