    Ron Ellis, Super Trick "T", AA/A, Saginaw, Michigan, 1969. Ron would be Super Eliminator runner-up at '69 Indy and '69 World Finals in this car. Paul Stage, AA/C, Rockford, IL in the far lane. Paul appears to have red-lighted as Ellis would've had the handicap head start.

    Had forgotten about this one, the Stinger, think Roger Hardcastle was one of the owners, was Pat Akins involved also? If I remember correctly, they ran Akins' motor on nitro, can't imagine the class, there were no fuel modified sports cars, were they trying to be a funny car? Great picture, Rick, thanks for posting...
