Need help with C-SB Pistons

    Hi Guys!
    I need some help identifying these pistons. They are in a Chevy small block 350. Its a marine engine and I don't know if those postons are some kind of special marine application.

    Look like run of the mill Chevy pistons to me.
     
  3. Yep, early or so 70's when they went from flat top to that dish style to drop compression (and HP)

    Nothing remarkable ,dish top with 4 valve reliefs.What heads and what is the intended use ?

    Thanks guys, for the info. Since I'm totally new to this stuff, I didn't have any clue what kind of pistons those are.
    I 've got some standart small block heads with standart diameter valves. I thought about flatening the surface of the intake ports of the heads and putting some summit racing intake on it.
    So you said that they used those pistons for lower compression?
