    I would imagine that he is referring to the Life magazine cover of the car with the "Illuminated" tires. I only say that because I was wondering the same thing

    I think this is an Antem ( French ) bodied Delahaye 235 around '51
    Any other offers?

    Delahaye, possibly 235 chassis. Although it appears to be on the Saoutchik stand it is very similar to an Antem ( French ) body of the period.
     
  14. My grandfather was a Crew Chief on them there. I forget which unit though (I think it was the 4th FS).

    As for the 1st U.S. Aerial Victory in Korea. Pilot Lt. Hudson w/Radar Operator Carl Frazer were the aircrew that shot down a Yak-11 June 27 1950.

    Info pulled from a paper back book called "Double Menace P/F-82 Twin Mustang" by David r. McLaren. A google search also has the same information.
