    Hey man, if it's disc brakes you're lookin for, go to www.rustyhope.com The man there builds all his own stuff and they are great. The price is really low too for what you're getting. I hope I got the address right, you may have to put an "S" on the end.

    So the Plymouth has a sway bar, and independent coils, and unequal lenght A arms. So other than maybe changing the springs for a pair of moog springs for an Aerostar, or getting espo to wind a pair of shorter increasing rate coils, and then adding some Ford F1 shock mounts and relocating the shocks to the frame, adding some disc brakes from one of several sources, whats to be gained by chopping up the chassis, adding a clip, then fabricating all the stuff to rehang the sheet metal??????????????????

    I have cut coils, 2" blocks in the rear with 3 leaves removed, and smaller tyres.
    I must say, it handles much better just from doing this. Once i've installed airbags, and relocated the front shocks it should pretty much lay flat. I can't see the point in upgrading the front clip unless you're taking it to the track

    Have you checked with the department of transport about the airbags, I'm
    pretty sure you'll find its no longer legal here in Queensland.

    I saw your plymouth at greasefest, nice work on the roof mate. I've got a
    plymouth bodied desoto i'm hoping to start on soon.

    Yeah I'm not sure about the legalities any more, but it's better than rolling 45mm off the deck, static.
    From my experience, you've gotta be pretty unlucky, or doing something stupid to get pulled up in an old car.

    A Crambrook! That brings back memories. One of my high school buddies about 1959 had a '53 Pea Green 4 door with Hy-drive. You could time it with a sun dial. My recollection is that his car was lowered through old age sag.

    Do not clip it! Mopars got a pretty good frontend from the factory. The result is not worth it. Some people just do it to get room for the steering to clear a V8. Put Scarebird disk brakes on and a late 80's Chevy Cavalier rack and pinion for the V8 issue. I got a manual rack, twice the money than power, to keep the traditional feel of the car.
