I haven't posted in a while. I also haven't shot a car show is a while. It was time to get back out with a couple of friends and cover a show through my lens. A bunch of high dollar cars with a couple of hidden jems. Here you go. Enjoy.

That supercharged 36 was amazing. Including the Mags inside.

you take great photos. I have a BUNCH and will try to add them tomorrow.

Did you have a car in the show? I had the 38 Cadillac Opera Coupe along the lake. What a privilege to be on the same field with some many wonderful automobiles

This one? No I didn't have a car in the show. It was amazing to see everything. Your Caddy is beautiful by the way.

there are only a handful of these 32 Buick 96S Country Club Coupes left. Only 586 built. This one inspired me to search three years to buy one almost like it. Ironically the Masterpiece did not want it for the show, as this one had already been entered!

so I took the 38 Cadillac Series 60 Opera Coupe. Just over 400 made and very few with dual side-mounted spares. Only three known to still exist

very tough competition. The Closed car class was won by the 25 Cadillac Seven Passenger Sedan.

The Open car class was over the top. The 41 Cadillac was victorious.

The feature of this year's show was Homebuilt Cars. These were quite interesting and radical. All done decades ago. The belly-tanker was very interesting, especially the cockpit controls.

there were quite a few European sports cars and historic race cars. Not really my cup of tea, but a few caught my eye.

Saturday was Club Day. It also served as a National meet for the Professional Car Assn. There were some wonderful limos, ambulances and hearses. Even the famous Rocky Fluegge had his great 57 Pontiac ambulance on display. A few stuck around for the Masterpiece on Sunday. These were of particular interest to me

There were 195 cars participating in the Masterpiece. I am only showing you 25%. This is a MUST SEE event! So next year, take in Cheaterama on Saturday and be at the Lakefront for the Masterpiece on Sunday.

You missed the most important one at the front gate. Cool license plate.

yes, it is an annual event. In fact, to participate means you applied in April and were approved to fit the show classes.

quite the Concours de Elegance event. Very well organized, professional judges, professional/knowledgeable narration, etc. A well run fund-raiser for charity

hey Green49Ford, did you get a photo of that wild red 1915ish race car? They crank started that beast early on Sunday and it woke the dead. VERY healthy!

No I didn't. We decided to come dressed up in shirts and hats and that turned out to be a bad idea with 90 degrees and 90 percent humidity.

btw, I got an email thanking ME (should have been Green49Ford) for taking photos of the 56 Ford tow truck. Somehow the owner (not a HAMBer) found photos on here and was able to track me down via email.

props to Green49Ford for the wonderful photos

Thanks again! I haven't shot a show in a while but I am feeling it again. I hopefully will get to Iron Invasion for my friend Jon Wells.
