    please no more flatheads they are a cool motor but i see so many now that they are getting boreing

    And there never was an engine so perfectly designed for a Model A Ford as a Small Block Chevy!

    Had a 276 flathead,I felt the need to remind myself how much I hate myself so I built a 453 stroked nailhead and put a dn 5speed with a olds rear.
    I will let you know if it was worth it soon.

  17. Me too.......works great, not traditional. would hafta be a flattie, early hemi, or a Y block.

    36 model 21 stud ,johnson hollow adjustable lifters, isky cam ,Edmunds intake with 2 94s, pretty damn stout.
