I got this B&M short throw shifter with the Camaro T5 I bought. I love the shifter throw, and the side to side resistance. But since this is going to go into my 53 pickup with a straight up bellhousing this shifter isnt going to work for me. I was wondering if anyone has seen anyone modify this type of shifter to accept a straight shifter stick. I was considering cutting this stick right below where it begins to angle and ethier welding on threads or grinding a flat spot on one side to accept a hurst style stick.

Any suggestions or links would be helpful.

I actually just sold this guy and bought a short throw from hurst that had changeable sticks. Work out nice for my application and after selling the old one I didn't pay to much extra.
