scored me a nice windshield frame. hardly no rust. surface mainly. but not plymouth....i bought oonline on egay and was amazingly a 32 ford coupe frame. has any other of you mopar guys had such luck? i layed the frame in the body and its a perfect fit. everything matches. so here is the deal. maybe the frame was never a ford at all and was a plymouth all along and i just got lucky???? put in your thoughts and maybe this subject will help others???? here is a link to the auction with pictures.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1932-Ford-C...W2D8p1I%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc#ht_154wt_1194
I have both, plymouth and 32 5w Ford. THe ford frame is 1" wide, the dodge/plymouth is 3/4" wide. The height of the 32 frame in the center is 1/2" taller, than the other. Plymouth 11 3/4 tall Ford 12 1/4 tall , measured in the center of the windsheild. Also, the screws on the lower back side I dont think are on original for windsheilds. It looks ALOT like the plymouth one I have.
It's actually off a 1933 Johnson Huffinweasel, they did some contract work with Mopar around that time frame.
